Responsible Play at Dish Corneer

At Dish Corneer, responsibility and wellbeing sit at the heart of our casino restaurant experience. Our guests come to savour Hungarian-inspired dishes, sip considered drinks and enjoy offline poker, roulette and blackjack in a calm, elegant card lounge. We are committed to offering a safe, enjoyable, strictly in-person environment where moderation and respect for the game always come first.

Our promise to every guest

We design every aspect of our restaurant, card room and table games area around balance: memorable cuisine, warm service and mindful, responsible play for adults who choose to participate.

Understanding Responsible Gaming

Responsible gaming at Dish Corneer means making informed, balanced choices while enjoying table games like poker, blackjack and roulette in our card lounge. Every hand, every spin and every stack of chips should enhance your evening, not define it.

We support guests in understanding the importance of self-control, time awareness and healthy boundaries within our physical casino setting. Our team encourages you to see table games as one refined element of an overall night out that also includes fine dining, conversation and atmosphere.

  • View poker tables, roulette tables and blackjack tables as entertainment, not a source of income
  • Decide how much time and money you wish to spend before you join a table
  • Balance your visit between the restaurant, bar, card room and lounge areas

Our 18+ Policy

Entry to Dish Corneer’s casino lounge and participation at our card rooms, poker tables and other table games are strictly limited to guests aged 18 and over. This policy is rigorously enforced to ensure a secure, compliant in-person gaming environment.

Guests may be asked for valid photo identification before entering the card lounge or taking a seat at a table. Where age cannot be confirmed, our team must decline access to all table games, the card room and associated lounge seating.

Families and younger guests are welcome in the restaurant areas that do not include card or table games, subject to local regulations. Our team will be pleased to guide you to the appropriate space.

By remaining on the casino lounge side of the venue, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and understand our responsible play expectations.

Creating a Supportive Atmosphere

Our trained team members are always available to answer questions about the gaming experience or to share advice on responsible play. From the maître d’ to the card room hosts, you will find approachable professionals who value your wellbeing.

We encourage guests to approach staff for support if needed, whether that means:

  • Asking for a pause from a poker table, roulette table or blackjack table
  • Requesting information about responsible play principles
  • Moving from the card room back to the restaurant or bar to take a break

Your comfort is always our priority, and each conversation is handled with discretion and respect.

Setting Limits and Recognising Signs

Before joining a poker table, roulette table or blackjack table, we invite you to set clear limits for both time and expenditure. Written decisions made before play begins are often easier to keep.

If you feel your gaming is taking up too much time or impacting your enjoyment of the restaurant, we recommend you take a break and speak confidentially with our staff. Common signs that a pause may be helpful include:

  • Thinking more about the next hand or spin than about your meal, company or surroundings
  • Playing longer than you intended or staying at a blackjack table when you meant to leave
  • Feeling irritable, stressed or distracted when away from the card room

Taking time to step back to the bar, terrace or dining room can restore perspective and return the focus to enjoyment.

Helpful Organisations and Resources

We provide information and contact details for professional Hungarian and international organisations that assist individuals and families affected by problem gambling. Printed materials are available upon request at our venue; simply ask a member of the team in the card lounge or at the host stand.

These independent organisations can offer confidential advice, counselling and support outside of your time at Dish Corneer. If you feel that gaming of any kind is no longer a light, social activity for you, we encourage you to seek their guidance.

Our staff can help you locate the latest leaflets and contact details so you can reach the most appropriate service for your needs.

Our Commitment to a Balanced Experience

At Dish Corneer, the culinary adventure is as important as the offline gaming thrill. Our warm interiors, linen-toned table settings and brushed bronze details are designed to create an evening that feels complete even if you never visit the card room.

We design our lounge, card rooms and service to keep the focus on communal enjoyment and a balanced, luxurious evening for everyone. Offline poker, roulette and blackjack are presented as refined table games, sitting alongside Hungarian-inspired dishes, drinks and conversation.

Whether you are gathered around a tasting menu, a roulette table or the bar, our aim is the same: shared moments, thoughtful pacing and a sense of ease that supports responsible choices.

Contact & Confidentiality

If you need support or wish to discuss responsible play, our management team is here for you with compassion and discretion. You can ask to speak with a manager in person at any time during your visit.

For guests who prefer to reach out between visits, our contact form and reservation channels are also available. Messages related to wellbeing or responsible play are treated with priority and the utmost confidentiality.

If at any time you feel that gaming is affecting your life beyond your evening at Dish Corneer, we encourage you to speak both with our team and with a professional support organisation.

  • Enjoy table games as part of a wider evening of dining and conversation.
  • Step away from the card room whenever you feel the need for a break.
  • Reach out early if you have any concern about your gaming habits.
